Charity Golf Tournament

The 2023 Triangle Golf Challenge

In 2003, Sherrod Banks began holding an annual Golf Tournament to raise money for The Banks Foundation, a tax-exempt organization that assists families who are moving from welfare to work and from public housing to private homeownership. The board approved an expansion of the Tournament to support other Triangle charities in 2013 and renamed the tournament the Triangle Golf Challenge.

The beneficiaries of the Foundation are persons who have received public housing or Section 8 assistance, who have entered into an FSS contract or other similar agreement for the purpose of becoming a homeowner, and who have completed the requirements for doing so.

With your help, the Foundation can continue to assist other families who have demonstrated their desire and ability to realize the American Dream.
